Fuerteventura Airport Transfers: Public or Private ?
When considering Fuerteventura airport transfers, you have various options. You can take a taxi, wait for the public bus, or have "your" smartly dressed driver wait for you with a sign with your name on it, as if you were a Hollywood star (if you choose the private transfer option). Fuerteventura Airport Transfers: Taxis
The Fuerteventura taxis wait at the rank just outside the Arrivals building at the airport. There is often a queue, but usually you don’t have to wait for too long. The taxis operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They are usually big cars, such as estates (for 4 passengers), and minibuses (for up to 7 passengers).
The approximate fares for Fuerteventura taxis to the main destinations on the island from the airport are as follows (the taxis have meters – Tariff 1 is from 6am-10pm, and Tariff 2 from 10pm – 6am, plus Sundays and Public Holidays):

Public Buses: Cheap and Efficient
There is also the public bus service that can be used to get from the airport to the main holiday resorts. The services are operated by Tiadhe. There are limited bus routes that go through the airport and pick up and drop off there. The Number 3 service to Puerto del Rosario and Caleta de Fuste is the most frequent, and runs every half an hour in each direction. The Number 16 bus is less frequent and goes to Morro Jable in the south of the island. To get to Corralejo, you have to get on the Number 3 bus to the bus station in Puerto del Rosario, and then take the Number 6 bus to Corralejo. Depending on the connection, the total journey time will be around 90 minutes.
The cost is 1.45€ for a single journey for one person to Caleta de Fuste.
The cost, for example, of getting to Corralejo would be 1.45€ to Puerto del Rosario and 3.40€ from Puerto del Rosario to Corralejo.
Private Airport Transfers: Hoppa
Another method of private airport transfer, is to book through Hoppa , as they provide low cost transfers at different price levels. As a comparison, a private transfer by Hoppa to Caleta de Fuste for 4 people would cost (in pounds sterling) 19.42 (38.84 return); a bus transfer for 4 people would cost 11.38 (22.26 return) and a Speedy bus transfer for 4 people would cost 25.82(50.50 return).
To Corralejo, a private transfer for 4 people would cost (in pounds sterling) 36.07 (120.14 return); a bus transfer 21.86 (42.06 return); and a Speedy bus transfer 44.85 (86.28 return).
As there are different options for Fuerteventura airport transfers then your final decision will depend on your personal circumstances; although booking with Hoppa, will probably be the best, if you want a stress free start and finish to your holiday as you can book a return in advance.
