The Fuerteventura Princess is located on the beach called Playa de Esquinzo, just north of the Jandia resort in an area called Butihondo. It is an ideal place for those seeking a quiet relaxing holiday, either as a couple or as a family, based around the hotel or on the wonderful beach.

The Fuerteventura Princess Hotel is located in Butihondo, which is about 8km north of the resort of Jandia. The hotel has direct to the yellow sand and turquoise sea that is a feature of the famous Sotavento beach. The hotel is 70km away from Fuerteventura Airport so it takes about 90 minutes to get to. 10km away, next to Jandia, is the small town of Morro Jable. This town has a harbour where you can get a ferry to Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.

The Fuerteventura Princess hotel occupies a large site with a range of low rise buildings set in landscaped, sub tropical gardens. There are 4 freshwater swimming pools made up of 2 main pools, a children’s pool and a nudist’s pool. The hotel has a sauna, fitness facilities, a tennis court and a Turkish bath.

One of the features of the Fuerteventura Princess is that the hotel has an exclusive area – the Esencia de Fuerteventura, which is a private area with refurbished rooms, separate children’s and adult’s swimming pools, Balinese sun beds, gym, restaurant and mini-club.

The hotel has 3 restaurants and 4 bars. The main Principal Restaurant offers buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner; Restaurante La Choza overlooks the sea front; the Restaurant Mirador is in the exclusive Esencia de Fuerteventura area; and the Pizzeria Restaurant is the poolside food bar. The 4 bars are the pool bar Coco Loco, the lobby bar Portalon, the disco bar Salon Antigua, and the sports bar Betancuria. In the Esencia de Fuerteventura area is a Chill Out Bar.

For children, the hotel offers a games room, a playground, a mini club, a maxi club. The hotel’s entertainment team, provide day and evening activities and shows for adults and children.

The hotel has 669 rooms, which are made up of Double Rooms for up to 3 people; Double Rooms with sea view for up to 3 people; Superior Family Rooms for up to 6 people; Standard Esencia rooms for up to 4 people; Family Suite Esencia rooms for up to 4 people and Esencia Suites for up to 3 people.

All the rooms offer a minimum of air conditioning, satellite TV, fridge, safe box, ensuite bathroom with either bath or shower, a hairdryer, free toiletries, and a terrace or balcony.

How to Get to the Hotel

As you leave Fuerteventura Airport you take the exit on to the FV-2, which is sign-posted Morro Jable. You stay on the FV-2 all the way to Jandia which is about 70km, and takes about 90 minutes. After Costa Calma the FV-2 becomes dual carriageway and you continue along this road and turn off at Exit No. 79. At the first roundabout take the first right on to Calle Gran Canaria, then the next right on to Calle Lanzarote, and then left into Calle Gran Canaria once more. The hotel Reception is about 20m on the right.
