Location

The Risco del Gato is located at the southern end of Costa Calma, about 200 m from the white sand beach of northern Costa Calma. There is a limited range of small supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. For guests who want to discover the local area, then the resort of Jandia, the town of Morro Jable and the Oasis Park Zoo are 15 minutes away by bus or car.

The hotel is set in landscaped gardens, with two swimming pools, one of which is sea water. The facilities include a Thai Spa, a gym, two restaurants – the Horst Walczok and El Despertar, and the bar El Mirador.There is also a tennis court.

There are 44 Superior Junior Suites with one bedroom, 17 Deluxe Junior Suites with garden and sea views, 6 Senior Suites which have two bedrooms for up to 5 people, and 1 romantic Suite Margarita Bonita.

The 49 suites have air conditioning, a bedroom with twin beds, a small lounge, a dressing room, a private sun terrace and a terrace that overlooks the communal gardens. The suites have satellite TV, a mini bar, safe, CD player and a coffee maker.

How to Get to the Hotel

From Fuerteventura Airport you take the FV-2 road, signposted to Morro Jable. After a distance of 92 km you arrive at Costa Calma. At the first roundabout in the resort turn left, and immediately at the mini roundabout turn right on to the Avenida de Jahn Reisen and head up the hill. There are hotels on the left-hand side and a plantation of trees on the right. After 2 km there is a small roundabout, where you turn right at the shopping center Botanico, into the road called Sicasumbre. Further on, at the mini roundabout, take the first left into the Punta del Junquillo road. The road then goes to the right into the Punta del Roquito road, and the Risco del Gato is on the right opposite the H10 Tindaya Hotel.
